MESHING AROUND

Hello everyone..2years almost until i last blogged…well its definitely not easy to get back when the time gap has been this long, even though i have been thinking about it since a while now but it never really worked out. So,where was i all this while…as much as i am excited to start my blog all over again,i am equally ecstatic to let everyone know that i was blessed with my dear daughter a year and a half back and hence the rest of my absence is self explained.

Coming back to my pictures now..these were clicked on our trip to Pushkar at Ananta Spa & Resorts. To keep the look simple and feminine,I have teamed up my black mesh skirt with a striped shirt and white trainers. Not much of an experimental look but the red lips here i think adds all the glam quotient to the entire outfit.

Please comment below as to how you all find the look and also how you would dress up a mesh skirt.

DAZZLING IN DEBARUN

Debarun's stupendous designs, showcasing bridal collection on the Day 4 of Amazon India Couture Week'15 was quite inspiring. It was time that i was longing to shoot in an Indian outfit for the Blog. And after seeing the show i thought wearing one of Debarun's design would be the best way to portray the beauty of an Indian attire simultaneously showing how to prep for a nuptial event.

Here am wearing a Golden beige anarkali which is super versatile allowing you to play around with different Dupattas and jewelry to create various looks. It can be both worn for a day or a night event .Coming to the look and feel of the outfit, its very light and airy. The breezy fabric makes it easy to wear even in the summers.I am teaming the anarkali with a heavy red Dupatta to give it a more gaudy look making it suitable to wear it to a wedding or for that matter even to Sangeet or Mehendi. You could alternatively try a printed Chanderi Dupatta to make the look more subtle for a day event.

To ornate the attire for a wedding event i used Kundan Jewellery, golden heels and  a simple red bindi.

COOL VIBES

I have not been too well lately and hence couldn't really think of going out for a shoot..and with my husband's schedule being such where he would be out of town any moment now,we wanted to make the most of our time shooting from house.
The combination of blue and white does quite a bang up job when you are trying to make a statement with almost little or no colour. Skirts have been my favorite this summer..i think i have purchased them in almost all colours and lengths by now.The fashion world still doping in the 70's, Midi skirts have made a major comeback. I picked up this white skirt from Forever 21.There are various ways i could dress up this skirt but keeping it simple i decided to wear it with a blue striped shirt and a statement neckpiece. So is this look a yay or a nay with you guys and also let me know how you are making the 70's a part of your wardrobe.

SLITTED FLORALS

My fondness for floral keeps growing more when feminine pieces like these rule the fashion world.Of late the combination of trousers/denims along with maxi dresses has been all the rage.A high slit maxi along with skinnies are not only super wearable but immensely fashionable that can take you from day to night. My inclination towards this fad kept increasing until i found the ideal piece which served aptly for my love towards floral and black.
Complimenting this alluring dress are my cropped pants, black pumps along with the trend setting sunnies.Hoping that this inspires you to style the slitted maxi in each of your unique way.

NOT A VERY BAD HAIR DAY

Everyone has a Bad hair day..i mean it is unreasonable to ask your hair to co-operate with you every single day in this messy monsoon..and i had always heard that headband on a bad hair day can save you.It was truly proved when i wore it on a very rainy day here in Delhi when my hair was all going crazy and frizzy. No matter whatever i tried,it ended up looking ridiculous until this Bandana hairband came to my rescue.I think i am going to use more of these in the coming days :)

MAC LIPCOLOURS

The 1st lipcolour used here is "HALF AND HALF".It is an awesome neutral pinky brown shade. This kinda colour is mostly preferred for the day time when you want to keep the look subtle. After trying so many Nude shades..this is by far the best.

The 2nd colour here is "VEGAS VOLT"-the perfect combination of Orange and Coral..The colour is super summery and can be easily worn from Day to Night. It Has a creamy finish hence it doesn't dry your lips.I personally think this colour instantly gives that pick me up feel and helps brighten your skin tone.

And the last colour here is "GIRL ABOUT TOWN".As MAC describes it as Fabulous fuchsia, its the shade of a bright pink with blue undertones. Its suitable for almost all skin tones depending on how bold you like your lips to look. One of the most wearable Fuchsia that i have ever tried.

Not to forget all of the above MAC colours are super wearable and has awesome staying power,so you don't have to keep reapplying it through out the day. These colours are sure to turn heads while you are wearing it.
